49ers vs. Comets

November 3, 2008 Staff Leave a Comment

Last Saturday the Yuba College football team played Contra Costa College. The Contra Costa Comets proved to be less of a challenge to the 49ers within the first quarter when Yuba held the lead 20-0.

During the beginning of the second quarter, #2 running back, Anthony White, scored another touchdown, making the score 26-0. The Comets seemed to be bringing a little more of a challenge when they were about to score their first touchdown until #1 defensive back man, Devion Tate, intercepted the ball and ran back down field to score a touchdown making the score 33-0. By the end of the first half the score was 41-0.

The second half seemed to be just a replay of the first half. Contra Costa scored two touchdowns in the second half, making the final score of the game 52-12.
