From one of the most talented playwrights in contemporary theater comes, equally, one of his most renowned creations. Death of a Salesman from Arthur Asher Miller is a story that will both move and inspire. What it does for the human condition is only one small aspect of what makes this a must-see for any theatergoer. Even the young crowd of today can find something to relate to in Miller’s work, as the basic theme is about success, and how much we sacrifice just to survive the rat race.
The rehearsal process for this show, which has been going on since late January, is showing the fruit of its labor as the actors work diligently to perfect their characters. The director, Geoffrey Wander, puts his entire arsenal of knowledge into every little detail, allowing for the play as a whole to come together as finely as it has. There will also be a live pianist, with a musical score of contemporary pieces performed by the one and only John Allen.

Come see Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman at the Yuba college Theater. The evening performances will be on March 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 & 23 starting at 8pm. On March 14 & 21 there will be a Matinee at 2pm.
Tickets are $8 general admission, $6 for students/seniors, and for the March 14th and the 21st matinee’s, the tickets will be half off for students.
