The California Consortium is extending a unique internship opportunity to students at Yuba College. On Wednesday, February 10, a representative from the Northern California division of the Consortium will be traveling from Willows to speak with students at the college about a variety of different internships positions available in environmental aid. “I know this isn’t the time most of you are thinking about summer jobs, but this is an opportunity you shouldn’t pass up,” encouraged Professor Susan Ramones. Students will have from 10-1pm to speak with the representative, who will be located in the Yuba College Cafeteria. The California Consortium is now accepting applications for the paid summer internships, so all who are interested are encouraged to speak with the representative to learn more about how they can take part in this exciting opportunity to help protect the environment.
