For youngsters interested in becoming better baseball players, Yuba College Baseball is holding a Baseball Skills Camp on Saturday, October 19th, 2014 at Yuba College Baseball Field to help raise money for the program and benefit the baseball youth in the area. The cost is $50 per player. Over 40 Yuba College players and coaches will teach pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, bunting, and base running to children from ages 6-12 at 9am-12pm and youths from ages 13-17 at 12:30pm until 3:30pm. To register, call (530) 741-6825, or view the flyer at http://athletics.yccd.edu/camps.aspx.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young player to receive first hand, one-on-one, coaching about the fundamentals of the game from a professional college player. Please come out and support 49er baseball.
