Beans Talk

December 1, 2008 Staff Leave a Comment

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it made sense to include a coffee that would go with the festivities of Thanksgiving. The new Thanksgiving Blend Starbucks is offering seems interesting enough. I received my coffee piping hot right out of the pot, in the much-anticipated red cups. To enjoy a coffee to its max, you of course have to include a pastry or some delish to go along with it. I chose the Pumpkin cream muffin, to stick to the whole Thanksgiving theme I created. Sipping my coffee in one of those comfy chairs was fun as well as inviting. I must say that the Coffee itself doesn’t offer much. It takes an acquired taste but boy, does it taste good with that pumpkin muffin! I was skeptical when I first took a sip of it because the first thought to cross my mind is YUCK, a coffee that tastes like turkey. Not so, it tastes herbal, with a hint of pumpkin. That warm liquid running down your throat almost makes you feel as if you’re sitting around the table indulging in the traditional foods offered at Thanksgiving. I loved it with the Pumpkin cream muffin, which I also will add, tasted ever so sweet and delicious, especially the cream cheese in the middle. The Thanksgiving Blend is definitely one to be thankful about!
