I walked into Clark Avenue Coffee Shop nestled on the busy street of Clark Avenue in Yuba City. I was kindly welcomed by the smiling cashier, and asked what she might get started for me. She recommended the blended mocha with extra chocolate drizzle. It was fantastic.
But it was surpassed by their baked goods. They offer homemade pastries instead of the ordinary pre-made, pre-packaged pastries that you commonly see in other coffee shops.
Their cinnamon rolls and ginger snaps were to die for. It took me back to when my grandmother used to bake in her kitchen.
Even better, it is inexpensive. Their mochas cost $3.99, while their cookies only cost $1.25.
I sat down, talking to High School students, talking about football games and the teachers they have this year, while businessmen sat across from us, reading their newspapers and sipping on their cups of coffee.
I would recommend you stopping by to have a chat with the cashier and to grab one of their blended mochas and a delicious cinammon roll.
