I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food, and I’ve been to almost every Mexican restaurant the Yuba-Sutter area has to offer. This all comes down to one thing: I know me some Mexican food. El Zarape, located at 1005 Stafford Way in Yuba City, has the finest food for your money.
If you’re looking for a delicious, filling menu that won’t break your bank, this is the place to go. Two people can get a two-item meal for around $10 per person. The menu for this combo is extensive, and it includes rice and beans. The portion sizes are more than adequate and oh-so-tasty.
The service staff is to be commended. Polite and on the ball, they certainly help to make one’s experience pleasurable.
Also noteworthy is the beautiful, quaint, outdoor dining patio. Grab a margarita with your significant other, or have two drinks to yourself as you enjoy the decorative outside. Hungry, I say with much enthusiasm: Go get your greasy, saucy, cheesy Mexican on. You’ll be glad you did.
