Cross Country Took Four Competitors To First Invitational Meet

September 17, 2004 Staff Leave a Comment

Yuba College’s Cross Country coach Rick Browning took only four competitors to their first Invitational at Lassen on Friday, September 10. Between the three women and one man, they ranked 5th, 7th, 15th and 7th place. According to Coach Browning this is pretty good considering the tough competition they were up against, such as Butte College. The next meet will be the Shasta Invitational on Saturday, September 18, at 11 a.m.

Although only three women and one man competed at their first meet, Browning expects more runners to be added to the team as soon as their physicals are done
