I love the time of year when I can walk outside and smell the scent of fresh cut green grass. The time of year when friends and neighbors come together to barbecue in the evenings (which also smells quite nice!). The time of year when kids I don’t know ride their bicycles in my driveway late into the night. Above all else, the time of year when I drive home from school and it ISN’T dark outside.
That time is upon us. We call it Daylight Saving Time, and it starts this Sunday, March 13th. So don’t forget to move your clocks forward an hour at two o’clock Sunday morning… or you can do it before you go to bed Saturday night like normal people do. Either way, you will lose an hour of sleep that won’t be made up for until November.
But hey, enjoy your daylight!
