A1 My name is David Wilson Jr, I am from California. I have lived in Northern and Southern California.
Q2 How long did you live in the Yuba-Sutter area?
A2 I have lived in the Yuba-Sutter area for six years.
Q3 How long have you been an athlete? What sports have you PLAYED besides Football?
A3 I have been an athlete all my life, starting at age five I started playing basketball. I have played basketball, football and baseball all throughout my life. But I chose football because it gave me the best opportunities in life.
Q 4 Who are your greatest influences?
A4 God and my parents are my greatest influences, without having them and their guidance I would not be the man I am today.
Q5 What motivates you?
A5 God, my family, myself and my good friends because that is who I represent wherever I go.
Q6Are you enjoying school at Howard University?
A6 School is great at Howard University. I am learning a lot of new things, this school has to offer and it will benefit me in the future.
Q7 Are you enjoying the football program at Howard University?
A7 The football program is on a “Road to Redemption.” It is turning around with new coaches, new philosophy, and is basically turning this university into a good football program. Yes I enjoy the program here and I am blessed to be here.
Q8 What did you learn from The football program at Yuba College?
A8 I learned to be humble, and to get the most out of my opportunity to play. It is not guaranteed that any one person on a football roster is going to play, so when your number is called you must perform.
Q9 How do you balance being a student athlete?
A9 I balance being a student-athlete by putting my priorities in order. School first and athletics come after. This is a job, and possibly could be a career for some, so it makes you become discipline. Knowing that football or any sport an athlete participates in and prepares them for life.
Mr.Hale, that is one way to address me. I am a very opinionated individual who loves to play The Devil’s Advocate on occasion. I like to discuss and write about things that are exciting, fun, informative and important. I am a little political, somewhat controversial and all around relevant.
