For those who “just don’t get it”, free tutoring is offered to any and all math students in a helpful, laid back setting. The Hard Math Cafe is in room 700 and The Hard Math Annex is in room 702. Both are open from 8am-5pm.
There is a Instructor schedule posted on the door if you prefer help from someone specific, and there are paid student tutors as well as several volunteers available to assist you with math whether you drop in for just one problem or need more in depth, full time tutoring. Computers and internet are also available for an added convenience.
Math Professor Joe Caputo, says, “The Cafe and Annex are sadly under utilized resources and students should never be afraid to come ask for help, sooner being better than later.”
“The pay is nice but I tutor more for the feeling I get from helping people,” said Elias Hernandez, student tutor.
