After five losses in a row, the Yuba College football team pulled out its second victory of the season. The 49ers shutout Contra Costa College on Saturday, October 16, for a long overdue confidence boost. Defensive lineman Faaaliga Selesele made four individual tackles and also recorded one sack among his nine total tackles. Selesele, who stands at 5-ll and weighs 265 pounds, was honored by being named Yuba College’s Athlete of the Week.
Yuba will try for another win on Saturday, October 23 at 1p.m. when they face College of Marin at home.
