Fresno Takes A Run Of Freebies To Down Yuba 91-79

March 3, 2011 Dan Bagley Leave a Comment

The Yuba College Men’s Basketball team made a long bus trek to Fresno to meet Fresno City College in the next step of their Dream Season journey to the State Championship.

After losing 91-79, the trip home is seemingly much longer and definitely much quieter.

Starting the game with a 15-7 lead, half time found the 49ers trailing, but by only 4 points (40-36).  They continued to stay in the game until the final minutes of the game when Fresno scored 14 of their last 16 points from the freebie line.

Our reporter, Ashley Johnson, is on the ride with the team and will have a report for us as soon as possible.  Please check back for the details on the game.
