Extra credit opportunities and dynamic topics are on the horizon as the new semester of Crossing Borders, Building Bridges fast approaches. On September 1st, Thursday, at 12:00 pm-12:50pm, in room #724, Benazir Bath will speak on “Ramadan:The Significance and the Celebration” as the first of the Crossing Borders, Building Bridges events headed by Neelam Canto-Lugo.Students can avail themselves to new significant information and lend their voice to important discussions at these presentations. This first event focuses on a central festival of the Muslim faith. All students who are able are encouraged to attend and some can ask their teachers if attending and writing a brief summary along with their thoughts can get them extra credit.
