Heads up, Star Wars fans. Now is your chance to become a real Padawan. LucasFilms is opening up their internship program for current junior undergraduates and graduate-level students.
The Jedi Academy is a summer internship program that runs for about 16 weeks long at the Letterman Digital Arts Center in San Francisco, California and at Big Rock Ranch in Nicasio, California.
These are paid internships in every field such as game development, art, engineering as well as web publishing and marketing.
“Last year we ended up hiring every one of our interns full-time on my game team,” says LucasArts composer Wilbert Roget, II. Roget is part of the in-house music team over at the San Francisco location, and has composed music for popular games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Go check it out over at http://jobs.lucasfilm.com/internships.html and apply now before it’s too late.
