Have you ever thought of opening your house to a whole community? Well, that is exactly what our very own Ceramics teacher Glenn Husted did, for two straight weekends in a row. (October 8,9,15,16). Over sixty artists opened forty plus studios and homes to the residents of Nevada County for these four days.
It was the first time Husted had opened his house to the public and described it as “the most powerful feeling”. For his professional introduction to the area, he invited fellow staff, students, and Yuba College’s President, Kay Adkins.
The well received tour gave the community a chance to view Husted’s and many other artists’ work. The Grass Valley’s own Prospector even featured him in an article for his participation in the show.
