The Crystal Springs Invitational in San Mateo on Saturday, October 16 turned out to be a great experience for three Yuba College Cross Country runners.

Adam Coverdell, Rachel Merriam, and Jordan Goreman all set personal records. Adam Coverdell placed 64th with a time of 24:47 for the men’s 4 mile course. Jordan Goreman placed 79th with a time of 26:06, and Rachel Merriam placed 46th with a time of 22:23 for the women’s 3.1 mile course.

Coach Browning was pleased with their performances.

October 27-30, the 49er cross country team will be competing in the Conference Championships. This event will decide who goes on to the Nor-Cal and State championships and whose season will have ended.
