Saturday, November 10, 2012 is the final game of the regular season for the Yuba College 49ers football team. This has been a very good year for the 49ers, all things considered. In the game last week against Los Medanos, Yuba was stopped on 4th down at the goal line just short of a comeback victory. This week’s game vs. Mendocino College is the final home game of the season.

Expect to see another strong performance from the 49er offense, as they have been running the ball effectively the last two games behind tailback Juan Johnson. The reemergence of the running game has opened up the passing attack for Quarterback Zach Hutcheson and the offense. Slot Receiver Jeremy Williams may be the best kept secret in the Norcal Conference. With Mendocino College still in the hunt for the conference’s final playoff berth, the 49ers play the role of the spoiler. Look for Coach Hoal to pull out all the the stops this week and throw the ball downfield.

The game begins at 6:00pm. Please come to Yuba College and support your 49er football team
