Slippery when wet

February 11, 2004 Staff Leave a Comment

During this wet, winter season the roads are slick and very dangerous. People rush in all directions, some running behind and others on time. Statistics show that 55.8 percent of car accidents are caused by someone in a hurry. It can happen to anyone.

Student, Laura Osborn said, “Where I live there are so many schools. Being a careful driver, whether I am running behind or on time, I have to drive extra cautiously. There are children everywhere.”

Marilyn Harris said, “I am glad I live close. It’s less than a ten minute drive. Traffic isn’t bad compared to driving through rush-hour traffic in Downtown Sacramento, like I used to do.

In January of 2003, there were three road rage accidents in the Yuba -Sutter area alone.
