Glenn Mayol, photographed inside the Yuba College gymnasium last Thursday afternoon, has been hired to replace Bob Brown as head coach of the Yuba College Women’s basketball team. Mayol previously coached the Laguna Creek High School girl’s basketball squad for five seasons, leading them to a pair of consecutive division 1 titles. Mayol will be starting at Yuba in the 2005-2006 basketball season. Last season the Yuba women finished with a disappointing 1-11 record in the Bay Valley Conference, 6-11 overall.
