Trouble for the Kongs

December 3, 2012 Capa Lo Leave a Comment

OverClocked ReMix has recently released a project album that has been in the works for the past 2 years. Needless to say, this album features dozens of arranged musical tracks from Donkey Kong Country 3, both the GBA and SNES versions. The soundtrack was written David Wise, a video game music composer. Wise has done many soundtracks for popular games such as the Donkey Kong Country series, Battletoads, and Wizards & Warriors.

Co-directors Cody Wedel and Wes McDonald has put together this album featuring many of the music artists from the OCRemix community, as well as David Wise himself. How great is it to have a composer rearrange their own work for a free project?

Head over to Double the Trouble! and check out this phenomenal 5-disc album showcasing multiple genres ranging from electro-pop to heavy metal. There’s a taste for everyone! Did I mention that this is all free? Go there and download it already, and I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed.
