The Yuba College men’s tennis team faced Consumnes River on Tuesday afternoon, March 8, losing their team match 5-4.

Coach Josh Prager said, “We were missing some of our top guys. That would have made a difference.”

Johnny Vongsavath (6-1, 6-1) and Eric Goodman (6-4, 6-2) both won their singles matches and later paired up to win in a double match.

Prager explained, “We played solid, but we ended up losing some close matches. We are getting better every week.”

With three conferences losses team playoffs are looking doubtful.

“Individual playoffs is what we are aiming for,” said Prager.
