Yuba College Suffers Burglary

March 16, 2011 Heather Meunier Leave a Comment

As the investigation continues, we are reaching more clarity in regards to the unfolding story of the burglaries  at Yuba College over the course of the March 5-6th weekend.

It has been confirmed that the offices of Dr. Ferrell, Dean of Student Development, Yuba College President Kay Adkins, and Vice President Dr. Kevin Trutna have all been broken into, as well as the office area of Flavors Restaurant. Some of these offices have cameras, but no identities have been announced as of yet.

Access was gained to these buildings using a sub-master key and the responsible party seemed to be very thorough and methodical, knowing exactly where to look for what they were after. Petty cash, equipment, and supplies are among the missing items reported.

As of the time of print, the police department would not comment, pending the ongoing investigation.

If you have any info regarding these incidences, please call the Yuba College Police Department at (530)741-6772.
