On Valentine’s Day, the men were hot and sweaty. Although there was a slight cool breeze, their hearts were pumping and adrenaline was high. The Yuba College men’s tennis team managed a 5-4 victory over rivaling Consumnes River College.
In the doubles play, the team of Gary Vongsavath and Bobby Mann defeated their opponents 6-4, 6-2. The four singles action victories were Joe Gill (6-2,6-3), Lue Thao (6-2,6-2), Matt Newbery (6-7,6-3,10-7) and Logan Center (6-4,6-0).
Their next game will be a home game on the February 28
