Yuba Women Snatch 100th Win

On Tuesday, October 12, the Yuba College 49er women’s soccer team grabbed their 100th victory. Going against the College of Marin, the 49ers dominated the field with a winning score of 10-0!

Amanda Short was the exceptional player of the day, scoring three of the ten goals. Christina Schwartz, Aurora Becerra, Kristen Grant, Amanda Bartolomeu, Megan Viera, Emily viera, and Elaine McCaulley all scored one goal apiece. Goalie Jamie Pau had a shutout in the net.

Coach Jason Spain was exceptionally pleased with the women’s performance. In the non-conference games, the Yuba women are 9-4-1 and are 7-1 in the Bay Valley Conference. Overall, the 49ers are 100-27.
